Suzanna Copp

Suzanna holds a Masters degree obtained from Curtin University, WA in 2009. With 13 years of experience in the field of psychology, she began her career in the public sector and transitioned to the private sector over a decade ago. Suzanna has substantial experience working with individuals aged 18 and over. Her areas of expertise include (but are not limited to) trauma, mood and emotion dysregulation, loss and grief including adjustment difficulties, and anxiety.

A particular passion for Suzanna lies in working with relationships, including couples, families, and parent-adult child dynamics. She values the integral role that relationships play in our lives, including the relationships we have with ourselves. Suzanna recognises the uniqueness of every individual and their experiences and perceptions. Her approach is client-centered, encouraging individuals to challenge themselves and their established patterns to foster growth.

Employing a holistic perspective in her practice, Suzanna incorporates an eclectic mix of evidence-based therapies. These include Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Emotion-Focused Therapy.

Beyond her practice, you'll find Suzanna at the beach with her two children and two fur babies, or at home cooking and reading. Possessing a curious mind and a love of learning, she regularly immerses herself in dynamic material in psychology, nutrition, and health.
